I’ve never been someone who particularly enjoys exercising in and of itself. Sure, I’ve found activities that I’ve enjoyed that just so happen to also provide exercise (I’ve always loved dancing, for instance), but I’m definitely not some sort of fitness guru by any means! My journey with fitness has been a struggle, particularly in the last year or so. I’ve struggled to stay consistent with anything I was doing, which resulted in not getting desirable results.

Now before you all start saying I’m a crazy person, let’s just take a minute. Hear me out! Obviously we all know that periods have a lot of unfortunate parts to them. Believe me, I would know! I’m the girl who’s cramps are sometimes so painful that they make me nauseous. And they were even worse when I was a teenager before I began birth control pills. That being said, I really do think that periods sometimes get a bad rep despite all of the good things they provide our bodies with!

Today, all across the globe (literally, the GLOBE, so crazy!) over a million women, men, children, and just generally awesome people marched together to deliver a peaceful, impactful, and empowering message. The photos of the seas of hot pink pussy cat hats and creative signage are enough to get you inspired, but the feeling on the ground was electric. This was a shining example of why I truly believe that together, we can accomplish anything.
