Alright, ladies. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve had some #GirlTalk on here. Let’s get right into it.

We Need to Stop Kink and Fetish shaming people

To put this conversation into context, I’ll explain where I’m coming from. I actually would consider myself a fairly vanilla person in my sexual preferences. I have a couple of fantasies here and there as I’m sure many people do, but generally I find myself feeling fulfilled by just connecting with my partner on an intimate level –

HI! It’s Erin.

I’m super fired up today. Get ready for some major realness / epiphanies / stuff that will maaaybe change your life.

Okay, so the past few months have been massively transformational for me. Not easy, holy shit not easy at ALL. It wasn’t what I expected, but I’ll talk about that specific part in the future. What I really want to talk to you guys about is this realization that I’ve recently had that I think has been the biggest block in my happiness in every single area of my life.

I bet you’ve probably heard something along the lines of “you shouldn’t use medication for anxiety or depression” at some point in your life. There’s such a stigma behind all things related to mental illness, but particularly when it comes to medication. Why is that, do you think? I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of hearing stuff like that, because medication to treat mental illness can literally save someone’s life.

Before you start thinking that I’m pushing medication on people,

Happy 4th of July! Hope you are all going to take some time today to hang out with friends and drink a well deserved spritz (just maybe sans flag print apparel and plz keep your pups inside – psa over). Okay, so I’ve been off the radar for a little while. A long while. I missed you guys! I’ve never been someone who particularly enjoys exercising in and of itself. Sure, I’ve found activities that I’ve enjoyed that just so happen to also provide exercise (I’ve always loved dancing, for instance), but I’m definitely not some sort of fitness guru by any means! My journey with fitness has been a struggle, particularly in the last year or so. I’ve struggled to stay consistent with anything I was doing, which resulted in not getting desirable results.

Now before you all start saying I’m a crazy person, let’s just take a minute. Hear me out! Obviously we all know that periods have a lot of unfortunate parts to them. Believe me, I would know! I’m the girl who’s cramps are sometimes so painful that they make me nauseous. And they were even worse when I was a teenager before I began birth control pills. That being said, I really do think that periods sometimes get a bad rep despite all of the good things they provide our bodies with!

Staying with our theme of kick-ass confidence, let’s cross a whole ‘nother line and talk frankly about a subject that’s a little taboo: Botox, injectables, and beauty that hurts like a bitch. I’m not one to sugarcoat things, so I’m pretty open about my love for a little medi-spa help here and there, but I’ve found that I get a lot of backlash because of the business that I run. For some reason, people tend to think that because I preach self love,

I’m currently on a work trip slash vacation, and I have been glued to my phone the entire time – which isn’t that weird since I’m always Instagramming, blogging, taking photos, and keeping notes – but that’s not why I’ve been digitally addicted these past few days instead of enjoying a change up in routine.

how-to-beat-stress-and-burnout

There have been some stress points and issues at two of my freelance positions lately,
